Adding computer at domain environment

When R.C My computer->computer name->change->click at radio button Domain and when i typed our domain samilsteel.com i got error.A Domain controller for the Domain samilsteel.com could not be contacted.Kindly let me know the idea.Any help would be highly appreciated.
