Can I publish RSS feed snippet on my website?

I want to publish some 'related news' on my site (about some selected keywords) in the same format as GoogleNews or Digg.com does, where first 2-3 lines of news are shown and link to original site is provided for detail readout. Can i use RSS feeds to implement the above? - I know some RSS feeds...
