Acer scanner connection problem

Hello I have Acer scanner prisa 320p and it has a parallel caple to connet to PC. In fact my problem is I can not connect it to my Toshiba laptop Satellite L305-S5946 because there are no parallel adptors in my laptop .So is there any way to change or convert the parallel adaptor into usb adaptor...
