Monitor in power save mode

Everything was working pretty well until last night and now when I turn on my computer it comes on but the monitor is just a black screen. It gives a message that it is in power save mode and the green indicator light is blinking. It's a ViewSonic 23" monitor, I purchased it 2 months ago from...
