"shd" rather than "shed"

Hi, i would like to know if this domain "hack" works? Like if i register "vanishd", does it have any value except type in traffic, and will the pricing change if the domain has 4-5-6 letters? Assuming that a keyword is very broad and is rather brandable than searchable. Thanks in advance.
