dual monitors

i dont know much about monitors or computers. i just got a viewsonic p815 for free. i have a emachines t3256 running xp with 2 gigs of ram and an athlon xp3200+ 2.21ghz. i only have 1 standard monitor port on my tower can i use the parralel port or serial port. also this monitor has 5 connectors...
