What should I get?!?!

I am setting up a printing system with a series of sensors that I need to connect to a dedicated PC, running XP, so that when there is a fault, (i.e. "paper out" or "lead edge not detected"), the printing system will stop and signal with an audio fault through the PC at which point an operator can...
