color columns on both sides of website (body bg editing)

Hey, I'm trying to get two colored columns on the left and right side of my website (leaving the center white/unaffected). The website ArmorGames.com is exactly what I am looking for.... the center is normal/white and the left and right side is colored blue. Does anyone know how this is done ?...
