Autorun Programs on a Mac

Hello - I would like to autorun a program written in java onto a USB device, so when plugged in it automatically runs the java program. Does anyone know how to write auto-run programs on a Mac? Does it need to be in TextEditor or Applescript? Btw there is no issue with it being used a PC - i...
