Local SEO strategy
 

Since SEO is becoming very tough nowadays, I think we should specialize with local keywords, ranking Globally is a tall order in indeed.

This is true, local keywords rank better fast than international keywords since competition is really low, and conversion rate is higher because clients can contact you easily since you are locally based.

I totally agree on this, I myself have worked on my personal local sites and I can say they are worth pursuing them instead of the World Wide keywords.

I know very many people making big money from local keywords; actually you will be surprised how fast and easy some local keywords can be ranked in Google if you understand SEO.

This is true, I know many clients making a kill from local keywords, from restaurants, website designers, architects, engineers, etc. Chose your keywords wisely and you won't go wrong.

Not many people know how profitable local keywords can become, and by not doing a thorough keyword research, they end up wasting their time and money on tough keywords.

I don't bother with international keywords nowadays, they are very competitive and costly to optimize, I would rather optimize a few local keywords since they are easy to rank.

I agree. It's easier to rank locally than globally.Less competition.

Just do local keywords and choose wisely. You will have a huge advantage against your competitors.
