Windows app with C??

Hi Folks Is it possible to code a windows GUI application using C? (i.e. not C++) I haven't been able to find an answer on this, trawling thru googlized searches gives me tons of stuff for C++ and C# but not a word about if its even possible with plain ol' C thanks
