Graphics Card doesn't send signal Nvidia GT 240
 

I just bought a new MObo, power supply 530w total power with a peak of 630W. I do not have a CRT monitor. I have a chipset that can display video on the mobo. Everything works fine. When I plug my Nvidia GT240 in the PCI-E and connect the monitor to it I get a blank screen saying "check cable"...
