Default What is better for hunting?
I want to buy optics for hunting. What is better binoculars or monocular?

I like my Vortex 1-6x Strike Eagle quite a bit. Even at 1x I prefer the reticle to a red dot.

Monoculars are lightweight compared to binoculars so are more portable, normally they are used for targeted applications and have less viewing angles. On the other hand Binoculars normally are better for wide angle viewing, tracking moving objects etc but they are bigger in size and heavier. I prefer binoculars, I have ATN BinoX-HD 4-16X(https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-binocular) amazing device!
