Window Live Mesenger using Pidgin

I try to log into my Window Live Messenger using Pidgin but doesn't work. I use the MSN to log in. Is there any different between MSN and Wiindow Live Mesnger? I also try using Wine to load the Window Live Messenger but fail to work. Is there anyway I can make to work? Appreciate to anyone who can...
