Use the following steps to point your external ip address to local host:

1. Obtain an ip from your ISP
2. Click LAN icon in the taskbar
3. Right click then select properties
4. LAN windows will appear . Right click and go to properties
5. There, select Tcp/ Internet protocol
6. Set your ip address . here , ytou need to specify default ip address also .
7. after that, click apply or ok . Your ip address was assigned to your local host successfully . If you have doubt regarding your ip address assingn process, contact your ISP to clarify it . After setting your ip address, you can view your public ip using Ip-details.com
