I need a c++ coding that can compress a file

I often condense pdf files because my employees send me reports in this format and the porblem is I have to keep their reports for two weeks. To avoid cluttering up my PC, I usually reduce the size of these files and put them in a single folder. Thanks to that my reports are structured and easy to navigate.
