backup and unlimited space

Hi all, we sell cpanel hosting with package that not are more than 2GB, now we would offer unlimited space as do hostgator, dreamhost...

I'm really fuzzy on those unlimited space. I think no hosting provider could ever do this. It will just eat up their resources. I think there's a gray line somewhere in the TOS. https://imagicon.info/cat/6-4/1.gif

It is fine because many people do not need very huge space they just want little space for their basic requirements. So, it is quite good for low budget websites which do not need so much space. But you should also provide disaster recovery as a service it will be more good.

As long as you have rules about what users can do with the storage space in shared hosting, you could conceivably have an unlimited hosting package. You would need to have rules against misuse (like uploading an mp3 collection.)
